The Alpine snowboardPlate is a professional racing equipment.

Although the bindings are on the plate and the plate is attached on the board, there is a 11mm distance between the board and the plate which allows the plate to float.

The main characteristics of the alpine racing plate are:

--> it provides lift to create leverage

--> it removes the binding pressure

--> allows the board to flex uninterrupted

--> smoothes the plate

--> one side is locked and the other side is sliding

--> the board is not distorted

One axle of the plate is stable and the other is sliding.

Which side would you prefer to be stable, is totally up to you.
